The NRL has been given the green light to air a match on Fox sports 1 and FOX Sports 2 in the coming weeks.
The NRL will broadcast the first five matches of the 2017-18 season on Fox on Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8:00pm and 10:00 pm.
A second round of matches will be played on Fox at 9:00am on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm and 8:30am.
Fox Sports 1 has been set to debut its NRL schedule on Wednesday evening.
A live online stream of all five matches is available to stream on FoxSports.com.
The schedule for the first week of the season will see the following games televised: AAMI Park, Friday 29 November (4:00-5:00) Brisbane Lions, Saturday 30 November (7:30-9:30) Melbourne Storm, Sunday 31 November (9:00 – 11:00)– Sydney Roosters v Canterbury (6:00), Sunday 1 December The NRL is also to televise two other games on the Fox Sports schedule: Somerset at Penrith on Saturday 3 December (7:00, 9:30)– Bath at Newcastle on Sunday 6 December (12:30).
